Every treatment starts here, face to face, before anything is agreed or booked. It is a conversation and an assessment, not a sales appointment.
Why it has to happen in person
Injectable treatments are medical procedures. Deciding whether one is safe and appropriate for you means examining your face in good light, at rest and moving, and going through your medical history properly. Facial anatomy varies a great deal between people, and so does what is sensible to do about it.
It is also a professional requirement, not a preference. Assessment happens in person, every time, without exception.
What happens at the appointment
- We start with what is actually bothering you, in your words, rather than with a treatment name.
- I take a full medical history: conditions, medication, allergies, and any previous treatments, including anything you have had dissolved.
- I assess your face in person and explain what I am seeing and why it matters.
- We talk through the realistic options, including the option of doing nothing.
- You hear the risks and the aftercare before you decide, not afterwards.
- We agree a plan and a price. Nothing is booked on the spot.
The 72-hour gap
There is a minimum of 72 hours between your consultation and any treatment. That is deliberate. It gives you time to read what you were given, ask anything you thought of later, and change your mind without having to have a conversation about it.
A non-refundable booking fee of £100 secures your appointment and comes off the cost of your treatment.
What I will not do
- Pressure you to book, or offer a discount for deciding today.
- Treat you on the same day as your consultation.
- Treat you if I do not think it is right for you, and I will tell you why.
- Recommend a treatment simply because it is the one you have heard of.
Why a nurse prescriber
I am an NMC-registered nurse and an independent prescriber (V300), with training in facial anatomy and a background in clinical nursing before aesthetics. In practice that means the assessment, the treatment and the aftercare come from the same person, and that if a complication ever happened, I can assess it, prescribe for it and manage it myself rather than referring you elsewhere.

Do I have to have a consultation before treatment?
Yes, always, and it is face to face. Assessing whether a treatment is safe and suitable for you needs someone to examine you in person and go through your medical history properly.
Is the consultation free?
There is a booking fee of £100, which is non-refundable but comes off the cost of your treatment. It exists so that appointments are taken seriously on both sides.
How long is it?
Allow around 30 to 45 minutes. It is not rushed, and you will not be moved along to make room for the next person.
Can I have treatment on the same day?
No. There is a minimum of 72 hours between your consultation and any treatment, so that you have genuine time to think without anyone waiting on your answer.
Will I be pressured to book?
No. If you decide against it, or if I think a treatment is not right for you, that is a perfectly good outcome for the appointment.
What should I bring?
Nothing in particular. It helps to know any regular medication you take, any allergies, and roughly what you have had done before and when, especially any filler, and whether you know what product was used.
What if you think I should not have the treatment?
Then I will say so, and explain why. Sometimes the answer is to do less than you had in mind, to wait, or to do nothing at all. That is part of what you are paying a medical professional for.
